The town of Diu situated in the southern tip of Gujarat is a beautiful island located nearby the coast of Kathiyawad region at Veraval port. Diu is majorly covered by the Arabian Sea from its three sides. It is more popular as a tourist place because of natural beaches, with other attractions like Diu Fort, St. Paul Church, Diu Museum, War memorial etc.

Gir National Park situated about 65 Kilometres south-east of Junagarh district, in Gujarat. The park covers almost 1412 square kilometers in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat and dedicated to conserving world most endangered species, Asiatic Lion. Gir is the only natural habitat of Asiatic Lion other than Africa. As per the new statics of 2015, the entire Saurashtra Region is inhabited by 523 Lions and more than 300 Leopards. This sanctuary has a large population of Sambar and Spotted Deer, chinkara gazelle, Nilgai, and Chowsinghathe (world’s only four-horned antelope). It gives homage to birds like uncommon Asiatic wild ass, hyenas, Gir foxes, pygmy woodpecker, brown fish owl, and blackbuck etc. December to March is climatically best season to visit the park. Though, April and May are very hot but considered as the best months for wildlife viewing and photography. The park remains closed from 15th June to 15th October due to monsoon.

After arrival at Veraval railway station or Diu Airport, you will be driven to Diu. On reaching, check into your hotel at Diu. You will have a day tour at some of the popular places like- Nagoa beach, Diu Fort, St. Paul’s Church, Diu Museum and War Memorial. Stay rest of the night at your hotel in Diu.


In the morning, check out from your hotel and start a journey towards Sasan Gir. On arrival, check into the Jungle Resort in Gir and get ready for a wild afternoon safari to see the rich variety of fauna such as Sambar, Wild Boar, Chital, Nilgai, Chinkara, and Four-horned Antelope and many more. Spend the night in the Jungle Resort at Sasan Gir.


Explore the National park by a morning gypsy safari. Sasan Gir is one of the popular wildlife national parks that offer a home to many Asiatic Lions. There are other predators like Panther and Hyena. On the same day, you will have an afternoon gypsy safari in Devalia Safari Park. Spend the night in the Jungle Resort at Sasan Gir.


Before leaving the majestic home of Asiatic Lions, take the last morning gypsy safari and check out from your hotel. On the way of returning, you will be taken to a visit to Somnath Mandir. At last, you will be dropped at Veraval railway station and the tour ends here with loads of memories.
